Description

The JK9® Mantrailing pulling harness is the ultimate dog harness for activities such as mantrailing, tracking and all pulling sports. It has been designed for tracking and mantrailing, but is a Y-shaped harness equally suitable for all other activities where the dog pulls forward continuously, such as canicross, cani-VTT, running, jogging and certain traction sports or sled dogs where the dog pulls forward continuously.

When the dog tracks a person, it follows a scent regardless of its environment and pulls its master along. The design of this harness has been specially developed so that the dog can run while pulling without being hindered in his movements: the anti-shock elastic leash connector is a patented JULIUS-K9® innovation that is unique on the market! It reduces jolts for the dog, so as not to disturb him when he's running, but also for the owner, as the dog's sudden movements are cushioned at the wrist. This dog harness features a shock absorber at the traction attachment point. This means that during sudden starts, the shock is absorbed directly by the harness. It's the combination of its two-part design and this connector that makes it a highly innovative canicross and tracking dog harness. 

The harness's length is very practical when you want to use a harness on several dogs, often the length of the dogs differs, and if it fits one like a glove, it won't fit another. Here, the harness can be adjusted down to 15 centimetres in length, which can be very convenient for many dogs. The harness's width is also adjustable on each side of the harness, this allows for an adjustment adapted to the dog's evolution. Whether the dog is overweight or growing. This harness can accommodate variations in size. When we put the lead rope on the pulling attachment point, the one furthest from the neck, in principle, the dog understands that is is allowed to pull. We recommend to use a collar with a double leash after the exercice or working session, so that the dog understands that he has to walk on foot.

To choose the right size for your Julius-K9 harness, simply measure your dog's chest circumference behind the front legs, as you can see in the video below. The neck is the circumference of the head at the widest point and the back length should be measured from the base of the tail to the base of the neck.
